Where to Buy Discs
A starter set is a great place to start but please do not buy the cheapest sets from Amazon or Ebay! These are mostly made of cheap hard plastic in moulds designed by non disc golfers.
We recommend the DGUK starter set which can be bought from their website or Amazon with or with out a bag.
Though they are a bit more expensive we also recommend the Innova, Discmania, or Discraft starter sets.

How to Play Disc Golf
You can read up on the basics on the UDisc How Top Play page but before you head to a course check out the videos from Latitude 64.
This is the best disc golf channel on youtube as you learn as they follow people from their first round to playing in tournaments.
All the videos are entertaining and Jonathan’s energy is inspiring.
Jonathan shows Frida how to throw and put while they play.
Watch Jonathan’s journey from complete beginner four years ago to teaching others.
How To Score
Disc Golf uses the same par scoring system as traditional golf with birdie, bogie, eagles, etc. Or if you are playing in a group you can just count your throws for the entire round and whoever has the lowest total at the end wins.
Any Golf scoring app or website will work for Disc Golf but a well designed app with the pars of each course loaded and ready to score is much more useful.
The UDisc app has score keeping, course maps, throw distance measuring, score tracking, sharing, and many more features. You will need to create a free account to use it but it is worth it if you are planning on scoring more than a couple of rounds.
