Disc Golf is great for Holiday Club activity as it can be played by kids of all abilities and from Reception to KS4 with up to 35 kids on the pop up course.

The 90 min session starts with a intro to disc golf and skills demonstration. I teach the kids and adults how to throw and putt, then we play on a full game on the course, and finish with some fun games.

If you have more than 35 kids we can split them into two groups and run two shorter sessions taking up a full morning or afternoon. Or book for the full day which also includes a course extension and more games.

HAF Providers – £4.50 per child. Normally £5.50 (£100 minimum)

Private Holiday Clubs and Activity Camps – £180
Normally £200

What is Disc Golf?

Disc Golf is similar to traditional or football golf, but we play with frisbees, so it’s way more fun! Any age can play with some guidance and supervision if needed.

What’s The Plan For The Session?

We build a short custom course on your playing fields or school grounds before the kids arrive.

After a safety message and warm up games the kids learn how to throw as far as they can. They learn to putt and try out a few different techniques.

After a quick explanation of the rules and the kids head onto the mini course for the main part of the session. I will go around the groups making sure they are having fun, playing safe, and learning new skills. I’ll adjust the course on the fly to match the kids abilities.

The session ends with some games that any child could win, a distance throwing challenge, and a “beat the teacher” competition that is always a blast.

Notes:

  • The Disc Golf activity session lasts around 90 mins but can be adapted if needed.
  • If you have more than 35 kids we can split them into two groups and run two shorter sessions taking up a full morning or afternoon.
  • Full day sessions also includes a course extension and more games.
  • Disc Golf Activity Sessions do need a minimum amount of outside space so not all schools and venues are suitable. I can usually tell from Google Map view if you are uncertain.
  • I am experienced with behaviour management but need to focus on delivering the activity to the whole group.
  • Reception and Y1 kids may start to fade while playing on the mini course and may need help or a different activity.
  • Prize discs for the winners of a couple of games can be purchased.

Pricing: See July 2026 discount above.

  • Private Holiday Clubs and Activity Camps – £200 per AM or PM session. £300 full day.
  • Travel outside of Manchester – £0.50 per mile

About Nathan

I started playing in 2020 and disc golf quickly became my passion. I’m now a slightly above average disc golfer who would rather play just for fun than enter a serious tournament.

In 2024 and 2025 I introduced over 1500 people to disc golf at music festivals, holiday clubs, school groups, Scouts & Guides, corporate groups and a stag do!

I come with a DBS Check, PLI Insurance, Risk Assessments, a Level 3 Paediatric First Aid Certificate, and a first aid kit I hope I’ll never use.

How to run a disc golf holiday club activity session.

(I’ve updated the session quite a lot since I filmed this one.)
